Account Deletion

We respect your right to control your data. If you'd like to delete your Selena account, you can do so at any time using any of the methods described below.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: In-App Deletion

1. Open Selena on your device
2. Go to Settings > Account
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm your decision

Your account will be scheduled for deletion immediately.

Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to privacy@selena.ai with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

• Account information — your name, email address, and company name
• Message history — all messages sent and received through Selena, including AI-generated responses
• Contact data — your customer contact list and conversation history
• Preferences and settings — your account configuration, notification preferences, and AI behavior settings
• Billing information — your payment details and invoicing history

What We May Retain

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by law or legitimate business purposes:

• Transaction records — billing and payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance
• Aggregated analytics — anonymized, non-personal usage data that cannot identify you
• Legal obligations — data required to comply with legal proceedings, regulatory requirements, or law enforcement requests

Timeline

• Account access: Disabled immediately upon deletion
• Data removal: Completed within 30 days of the deletion request
• Backup purge: Removed from backup systems within 90 days
